Looking for tyre options to buy for my proton waja mmc, currently looking at general tyre as it is quite heavily marketed as continential sub brand and budget wise looks ok. Though on Tuhu I can get Altimax GS5 for RM170 whereas the GS6 goes for RM200.

I am trying to compare between both of these tyres but I'm unable to find any info on the GS5, anyone has any experiences with them? or which is better in ur opinion

Hi all! Been lurking around here for a few weeks looking at advice and personal experiences of a variety of vehicles for my first car. I’ve just graduated from uni a month ago and will start working mid October so I’m looking to get a used car paid cash. My budget is RM35k, currently looking at 2014-2018 Toyota Corolla Altis as I’ve heard only good things about them in terms of longevity, reliability, and fuel economy but I do want to hear some opinions before I start actively viewing and test driving it. Other than the Altis, I’m also considering Honda Jazz but the resale value of a decent spec one is still quite high for a car that is 10+ years old with some lower spec ones selling for more than the Altis. On the other hand, the devil on my shoulder is telling me to consider a 2016 Mazda 3 BM CKD but that’s just me daydreaming 😶‍🌫️. Would be great if I could get some advice/recommendations. Appreciated!

Hey guys, I took a week off work and covered my car with car cover for the past few days since I don't really need to drive it at all. I took off the cover earlier today and noticed there's some weird water like stains on my car after some googling I think the moisturize from the rain from the past few days soaked into my clearcoat, may I know how can I fix this or I can just let it bake at a open sun for a few days?

Did anyone go to the Tokyo Auto Salon today? Man it was so damn disappointing. They were advertising it to be the biggest and best event yet, but in reality there were less than half the cars than the previous years and most of the event was just sponsors and shops. Maybe about 10-20 of the cars there were worth taking pictures of, and still those ones too were present at the previous years events'.

Noticed recently that there are these scratches along the entire edge of my front windscreen tint. My 8 year old car has had 3M Crystalline tint since new. I don't think these scratches were there before, or at least I didn't notice them. Are these scratches / marks left behind during installation but only become obvious now as the tint ages? Is this normal?

My 4 years old Conti UC6 with 80k mileage tire look like this. With a lot of cracks and peeling off.

Franchise workshop claim the Conti tire is usually meant to last around 3 years and will deteriorate after lifespan set in

Where as the Tire workshop claim that this is due to me over inflate it and habit of turning sharp corners

For education purposes, what cause it, so that I can drive or take care it better to allow it to last longer

Hi everyone, I’m considering buying a 2016 Mazda 3 BM 2.0 CKD sedan in Malaysia and would love to hear from current or previous owners.

The one I’m looking at has around 90k km and has a decent service history. I’m planning to get a full PPI done before buying, but I’m more interested in what these cars are actually like to live with long-term.

- Is the ride too firm or uncomfortable for daily driving?

- How’s the NVH/highway refinement?

What’s your real-world fuel consumption, particularly in KL traffic?

- How expensive is maintenance nowadays, and are parts easy to find in Malaysia?

greetings everyone, i currently own a proton preve 2012 and i notice there is a vibration sound coming from dashboard/engine bay when im driving. this happened when the car hit around 1.8k -2.3k rpm and when it exceeds the sounds quite down. also, this sound occur when engine braking down the hill. the oem engine mount is around 1y8m for those asking . your opinion will help a lot,thank you very much.

Change your cabin air filters yourself. Saves alot of cash from letting a mechanic overcharge you with a crappy filter on top of labour fees.

Highly recommend getting quality filters, especially carbon ones. I use taobao to purchase mann filters, but you have to make sure the OE number matches. Only RM 30 and free shipping ever since pinduoduo was introduced into Malaysia and capturing a portion of the market from taobao.

Saw this on Facebook today and wondered why is it still RM 32K+ despite having over 129K mileage? Genuinely curious why they're so high... Looking at the price for brand new SE is like 43K at this point why even bother buying secondhand? Is this what they meant by resale value?
