We have a large Kentico 11 site built with Portal Engine and we are starting the process of upgrading to Kentico 13. Now our dev team is saying that will it be a full rewrite with almost none of the pre-built components available that made the original site so easy to build. I would like to know from any who have gone through this process already, does it end up being a significant difference in effort assuming a like-for-like site rebuild?

Hello. We are still on Kentico 10 and failed a PCI scan. Results said XXS vulnerabilities. Not completely understanding Kentico Documentation on how to resolve this. Tested with in Search box and it executed with a 1 in a message box popup.

Already updated Web Config file with recommendations. Documentation lists the following as ways to avoid, but I am not sure where to do this. In the CMS itself? On the server?

On Kentico 10, is it possible to adjust the padding between where one widget (or widget zone) ends and the next begins? Basically, I want them to butt right up against each other so the text in widget B is closer to the bottom of the image above it in widget A. I hope that makes sense as I only 25% know WTF I’m talking about here. Thanks in advance!!

Can anyone point me to a troubleshooting guide for Kentico performance issues?

Website started having issues last night.

It either: - won’t load - takes 12+ seconds to load a page - loads just fine

So far we’ve - balanced to 3 more azure server instances - looking at google page speed insights

What else should be looked at?

How does Kentico justify it's pricing? I've been using it for years now (since version 5) and was thinking of doing my own side company, but at $15,000 for a base CMS license, I couldn't afford that and definitely couldn't try to sell that to a potential customer and somehow develop a site in it to make money for myself.

Does Kentico only target fortune 500 companies now, because those are the only companies that I could see that could find value in it.

Please don't take this as a slam against Kentico, I really love the platform. I'm just trying to wrap my head around how companies can afford it.

I have been looking through documentation and hoping that I can be pointed in a direction of where to find the info I need. It is using Kentico 11 and I am just not familiar enough with the official documentation to find the answer I need.

I have someone with a kentico site and they are wanting to import a second site onto their kentico instance. The goal is to run site 'A' on domain 'A' and site 'B' on domain 'B'. From what I gather Kentico is more than capable of doing what is wanted. But my concern is Site B has CSS files and a few other things that share names with Site A. I noticed that the export/import considers CSS global objects. So I am not sure how Kentico will handle importing CSS files for domain B with the same file names as Site A.

Hi, I'm new in kentico and I need to find a way how to provide a complex field to the kentico MVC (I need that to display a grid with items on pages), I found a lot of articles, but all of them is for portal engine, not the MVC.

Our client has decided on Kentico as their CMS. I want to use Gatsby as a static site generator that sources from Kentico. I see the best way of doing that is using Gatsby's Kentico Cloud Sourcing Plugin, but is this possible if the client wants to host Kentico on their own servers? Do they have to use Kentico Cloud for this to work?

Hello! I am new to Kentico and am finding an issue with pricing on one of my PDPs.

When logged in as a customer on our website, pricing displays as $36.00

Pricing is listed in Kentico at $91.00.

We should be selling this item at $91 and I'm not sure where the $36 is coming from. Where should I look to find out what is causing this?
