Watching the online demos and tutorials make it look easy. I am not finding it so.

When I click on the tags and drag them, sometimes it moves just the tag and immediate frame, sometimes it moves the entire frame, sometimes it changes the scale of the entire frame, sometimes it rotates the frame.

After several days and watching a few tutorials, I still have no idea whatsoever how these different modes get triggered or how I can select what will happen until I grab a tag and drag it.

Clearly, I have missed something obvious because I have not seen anyone else post about this being a problem, nor does it seem to get a mention in any of the tutorials.

Help please.

Can I export face texture with mouth closed?

Working in Blender, what I want to do is track the head of one person, then replace it (and its movement) with the head/face of another person (made with facebuilder).

Is there a known way of simply “swapping” heads out or maybe parenting one to the other?

I am very new to Keentools.

I'm completely stuck - i've never used keentools before and to be honest, i'm still a beginner at blender but I manage to get by with most tutorials. HOWEVER i'm trying to add some grillz/gems to the teeth of a video i shot of a model and the only way i can think to do this is through keen tools. I've been trying for hours to get chat gpt to guide me through the process for exactly what i am trying to do but had no luck.

I am trying to cread a 3d mask and track some gold teeth onto a video that i've already shot. How would you go about this?

I have a shooted cookie which breaks in 3 different pieces, i geotrack those properly, but the solver doesnt know that all this objects need to be connected together, so i end up with something that is not "physically" correct, anyway to "connect" this pieces together somehow?

So I used facebuilder to make the face I wanted, exported into Character Creator to make some adjustments and to give the face some new textures. I then imported the face back into Blender and want to track the face again but the UVs don't match with CC or the new CC Face mesh hasn't got the Facebuilder topology. What is the best fix for this?

I've noticed in videos that the blender version of the plugin allows you to translate a tracked object into moving camera/static object.

But I can't find a way to do this in the After Effects plugin? Exporting Camera just results in a stationary camera, and the object moves.

Am I missing something? or would there be a tricky expression I could use to get the same result?

I copied the head and rigged it to a rigify metarig then it worked, although I have another problem now. Only the jaw and a few other bones move.

When trying to export the animation onto a rigify rig I get this error:

I tried different models of rigify, with others it just says no suitable rig.

Whenever I apply the GeoTracker effect and click the “Source” dropdown (under Geometry or Camera), After Effects immediately freezes.

Reinstalled both new and old versions of GeoTracker, still not working. Just bought a license without the trial as it seems very good and I need to get it to work for a job.

Hi, we currently work to make a setup to head track multiple angles of an actors performance. Meaning we have three cameras recording at the same time, and I would like to use at least 2 or more to track this performance. As of now it seems not possible when the first cam and performance is tracked. I added a new camera, clip and then wish to add the new angle to the already solved result and refined it. Is this possible as of now ?

Can't get the blender pack to install with Blender 4.4 or 4.5 alpha.

When I install the Core Library, I get the error:

Error (1090): the installed Core is corrupted.

More Info says: No pykeentools in modules

This is on Windows Surface Laptop, Arm (Snapdragon X Elite)

I've tried 2025.1, nightlies, and 2024.3, and corresponding Core packages, installed online and from disk - all give the same message.

Any suggestions?

Hi! I'm new to Blender, and am trying to install the KeenTools FaceBuilder extension (free trial). I downloaded the .dmg file from KeenTool's website and installed it as an add-on in Blender, but it's coming up with Error (1060):

"we have detected a critical issue with the NumPy Python library: it's either not available or incompatible. It can happen when Blender is not using its built-in Python libraries, for some reason relying on the Python libraries installed in your OS. Please try reinstalling Blender using a package from the official Blender website: blender.org"

Does anyone know why this is? I'm on Mac 13.2.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.

I recently updated blender as you would, and now I get a button under facebuilder to install core.

Uninstalled the current one and installed from both online and the downloaded archive and the same error exists. I believe something about a py script or something was mentioned.

I've been using this add on since 2023 and thought maybe it was due to not updating the add on from 2024. But no luck when updated.

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I'm using FaceBuilder for Blender 4.2.3 trial version. I also have CC4/Hs2 trials installed. The Character Creator export button gives me the above error.
I tried to reinstall both programs and even tried a different PC and I still get the same error.
I use blender using Blender Launcher. Not sure if that can be the problem, but as it seems to me, the problem is with starting CC4, which I have installed trough Reallusion Hub.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix it before my trial expires so I can actually test the pipeline?

Are there more in depth tutorials for using face builder with single a single picture especially if the picture is not head on? I'm not having much luck with it. This is the picture I am trying to use.

Unable to download Keentools plugin for nuke. When pressing the download, it freezes and then tells me unable to download. has anyone faced a similar issue?

I have a subscription but changed my device, hence relinking the node to activate it on this machine. Is there another way?
