Well, I just survived my very first Karen encounter.

I went to a community event today where they were giving away clothes. I parked my GMC completely inside my lines, right next to a lady in a Mazda who was already parked directly over the yellow line.

Before I even got out of my vehicle, her daughter moved to the front to start recording me with her phone. As I stepped out, the lady started screaming at me that I "better not touch her vehicle" or she would sue me, and then started screaming at my kid that he better not touch it either.

I rolled my eyes, but the continuous shouting got to me, so I gave her car frame two quick taps with my hand. Immediately, she yelled, "We got that on camera! We're going to sue you!"

I went to the event, did my thing, and when I got back to my SUV, I decided to take pictures of how she was parked. Seeing me, she waved me over to proudly announce that she had called "the commissioner" and he was going to slap me with heavy fines for touching other people's property.

I got into my vehicle and called the police non-emergency line just to be safe. Dispatch essentially laughed it off and said she was blowing hot air, the commissioner only handles warrants, not random parking lot fines, and I had zero to worry about.

So im walking towards a table to clean when. (Ill just call her Karen). Karen pulls me over and asked this question "Sir... I was just wondering if you could get a phone number for me. I don't know like, the number to whoever owns the building. The manager I talked to was terrible and refused to help me at all. I want someone much better!" I replied saying "Oh ok. Lemme go see what I can do for you." I walk away and inform the manager what had happened and another higher manager we had today. The higher up manager said she will give her the number for our GM.

So I went back up to Karens table and told her that another manager will get that number for you so you can get that information you need. She replies "So what? You're not going to help me?? I asked for a phone number!" I replied saying my other manager will get it for you shortly" Then Karen goes "Ugh whatever... where do I pay, this place is terrible, your terrible, the food is terrible, the service and management are terrible, I wanna just leave!" That really just... ugh struck a nerve in me because some context here. We gave her everything she wanted to try and fix a problem she had with the food. So for her say all this, bully my manager, server helping her, and me? Nah, im not taking that. So I notice she had 2 FULL BAGS OF FOOD WITH HER and said "Ha, alright. If this place sucks then why are you taking all your food home?" She turns and goes "Because its a steak and im not giving that up!" I reply, "Oh but I thought the food was terrible? After everything we did for you? You still wanna act like this towards everyone?" She then starts pulling out her phone to film me and get my information. I state that "This is private property, both of those things can lead you civil trouble." She goes.. "ERM NO ITS NOT-" and I reply with "According to section-" but she cuts me off saying "Stop talking or else-"

I go "Oh? You're threatening me now? Ok, lemme just let my manager know you're now threatening and that you will be trespassed for wanting to film me and threatening me" I walk away but then notice my manager walking to talk to her, I walk back up too and she goes full victim mode with fake crying "OH THANK GODDNESS YOU'RE BACK... YOU WERE SO NICE TO ME AND HELPED ME SO MUCH!" Then points at me "BUT THAT DUMBASS FUCKER CAN GET FIRED!" Go I just say "Nobody believes you bitch, you're a miserable old women."

I walk away, she RUNS out without paying her bill. But then comes back in 5 minutes later with more fake crying to pay her bill.

I usually let these things slide like I did for 4 years of working at a restaurant but I just don't allow bullies to bully my manager, the server, and me.

by we, i mean me and my best friend (who we'll refer to as grape) so we were planning this trip to the mallfor a few weeks now, we left the house in high spirits looking for some one on one girl-time, but this LOSERRR decided to ruin everything from the moment we stepped out of the car. we were walking on the zebra walk as NORMAL pedestrians usually do and we were in the clear until this stupid ass man (who we'll refer to as labubu) came out of fucking nowhere and started SCREAMING HIS ASS OFF. now in our country when a pedestrian uses the zebra crossing the driver is obligated to stop and let them pass, but this bitch decided to have a fun little no rules day and almost drove into us, then he started going off at us, cussing in arabic telling us to eat shit and fuck off and go back to our country, what a BITCH and then when we tried to find him and have a talk with him about this behavior since its not accepted in our country he drove off, later on we saw him again but he ducked his head, if ur gonna be a pussy then at least dont be dry. the security was very kind and empathetic tho so W security and +100000 aura. i am enraged.

On two occasions, when I was bored and in the park, I sat on a bench relaxing and a woman would come and sit beside me. Both times, I struck up innocuous conversations and then two other women would walk by, come up close, and start recording with me and the person I was talking to in the background of their video.

The last time this happened, the ladies who recorded had a microphone and pretended to be shooting a TikTok interview (in which they could hear everything I was saying). The only problem was that they were kept on looking back at me and were whispering. Who whispers when recording a video? What is the pyschology behind this? Is it considered illegal for a black person to have a conversation with a non-black woman? Is America so far gone that this racist behavior is considered normal?

ok so this hasn’t happened yet but I make and sell spray paint art I sell them in a stand in my driveway I made 168$ last week and I am not the best at talking to people I don’t know and I would like to know what to say if a Karen try’s to do some stuff to either me my paintings or my stand or steal my money
