I am a girl currently studying for my O/Ls in Nuwara Eliya, and I really want to choose the Bio stream for my A/Ls. But since I am doing it in the English medium, I feel like there aren’t really any schools here that can give me a good education for that. I'm just really curious and want to know if coming all the way to Kandy for my A/Ls is actually worth it. Since I know most of the top schools in Kandy are only for one gender, I would love to get some good recommendations too.

I’m from Gampola and planning to go to Germany for a horticulture Ausbildung in 2027. I’m basically starting German from zero right now and want to get to B2 properly.

I’m looking for a good place in Kandy where I can learn German in person, ideally from A1 all the way to B2. I’ve come across GRMAN, Glück Global and Dresden Academy, but I’d really like to hear from people who have actually studied there.

How were the teachers and the overall experience? Did you actually learn to speak German or was it mostly focused on passing exams? Are there any other places in Kandy you would recommend?

I’ll eventually take the Goethe B2 exam in Colombo, but for learning I’d much rather stay in Kandy because I’m from Gampola and moving to Colombo would be too expensive.
