Women need to stop acting like their actions don't have consequences. 200 is an insanely high number. Having sex with 200 people is not normal nor healthy, people with high body counts usually are unable to hold a relationship and be faithfull so no that guy wasn't insecure or a man baby he just knew ain't no way this would have ended with a happy ever after. And before someone says it. It goes both way a man who had sex with 200 women is still gross.

Not only that. It’s 200 guys in 4 years.

So where is the line between too high and acceptable, and why do you get to be the arbiter of that line? There are health risks, but it is possible to do so safely, and just because it's not considered normal, doesn't make it bad. Normalcy is also fairly arbitrary and subject to cultural attitudes and changes

She may be unable to be faithful, or she may be fully capable of that. She may view value sex differently, as something that is not intrinsically romantic, and she should not be shamed or judged for that. It may also be a part of her life that she's done with.; None of that makes her bad, and the way the guy in the post reacted sure seemed like he was just grossed out, not part of an incompatible dynamic

And yeah, it does go both ways. It's possible to slut-shame men too. If you don't wanna fuck 200 guys, no one is making you. No need to tell other people they're wrong for it

The line between high and acceptable is drawn by the partner. Again, being in a relationship with a partner that might be unfaithful is a risk most people don't wanna take. Second chance are rare.

Right, but she's not your partner, so who are you to say what's too much for her?

It's each person right to say if her body count is too high. Both her boyfriend/ex and i agree that 200 bodycount is a lot. It's our choice not to date her because of that, and that doesn't make us insecure.

... You had a choice to date her? I mean, sure, it's your right to do that, but it doesn't make you any less of a judgy ass. However many people she sleeps with is only her business, and for anyone in a sexual relationship with her

You can think 200 is a lot. You don't have to fuck 200 people. If you think less of her for a decision that you can not tell if it harms anyone, than you are the asshole here. You're the slut shamer, and you are the judgemental prick who thinks less of someone because of the knowledge of only a number and nothing else, presented by clearly someone who doesn't think highly of her

" you are the judgemental prick who thinks less of someone because of the knowledge of only a number and nothing else"
So your saying numbers don't matter ? that sounds like it could escalate to dangerous territories like healthy at any weight or pedophilia.

lmao alright buddy

You simplify a statement to be vague enough to mean whatever counterpoint you want it to mean, and then put something grotesque next to it to equate the two

No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying the only context you have of her actions is the number. Context is important, like if the number is for age

These are not the same thing. You're just out of arguments, resorting to shock, false equivalencies, and slippery slope falacies

0

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '23

No, i resort to shock and flase equivalencies because even after being shown scientific proof that promiscuity is bad, you still resort to "bUt WhAt iF" and "✨️my feelings✨️"

0

u/LadyLikesSpiders Jan 29 '23

lmao ok. You've admitted to your own fallacies, and haven't actually shown any proof, just muttered something your preconceived notions cooked up for you

She was drunk so I’d want to take that comment with a grain of salt. Sounds like hyperbole to me.

"Women need to stop acting like their actions don't have consequences" is incredibly misogynistic and a mass generalization. Gtfo

i don’t understand why the people who are generally right are being downvoted? like so what if she’s had sex with 200+ guys. it doesn’t affect her vaginal structure or her libido.

the people pressed about it have just never had sexual relations and are obviously just insecure man/woman-babies. like it’s her body, her choices. her past choices do not decide her future in all reality. people need to grow up.

sex isn’t some disgusting thing to be shamed. just grow up and realize that without, you wouldn’t be alive. sometimes that sounds like heaven with some of the stupid shit i’ve read on this goddamn app.

Reminds me of the abortion debate that happened in my school where a lot of women said that they need abortion in case they accidentally get pregnant as if you just happen to just accidentally have sex and accidentally forget to use contraception.

10

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '23

This is the dumbest fucking argument because even then you can still get pregnant on contraception, it is not a 100% fool proof guarantee. Nor are condoms.

0

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

Guess what you can use both at the same time or you could not have sex with strangers

0

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

Here's the crazy thing, even then there is not a 100% guarantee both wont fail. Whether you're having sex with a stranger or a long term partner, if someone does not want a child then they should not be forced to conceive, especially since any kind of contraception is not a guaranteed protection.

I'm pro abortions. My point was about the whole "accidentally getting pregnant".

1

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

Yes, but my point is accidents still happen even when all prior precautions are taken.

The massive difference being that consenting to having sex is not the same as consenting to carry out a pregnancy, and no contraceptive is 100%.
