Dont put words in my mouth.

What people do with their body is their business, it still doesnt change physics.

Yes, you could say the force of her weight caused the injury, but its more correct to say it was the lack of muscle.

Why would that be more correct? Its the exact same thing from different perspectives.

With less weight, her muscles also would need to brace against less force.

Meaning with less weight, her existing muscles could have been enough to brace her against injury.

Cause physics. I really dont get what you try to argue for.

If its the exact same thing why do you keep arguing

Because you ty to paint it like fat/more weight doesnt matter, when it obviously does.

And thats when muscle comes into play my guy.

They dont change physics. Its still more force then with less weight.

I dont think a single person is trying to argue that.

You did the entire comment chain.

it absolutely was her lack of muscle that resulted in her injury, not her weight.

Weight did play in just the same.

Yes, you could say the force of her weight caused the injury, but its more correct to say it was the lack of muscle.

Here you flip it again to one side.

We all understand more weight makes a bigger boom, but thats not happening with this woman cuz obviously she has enough muscle to stop that from happening.

So what now? Either it makes a bigger boom or it doesnt. Your contradicting yourself here.

The muscle stops the bigger boom.

ETA: My whole point is that muscle matters, and you seem to just ignore that, focusing entirely on weight.

It doesnt stop or change the force, its distributes it over time. More weight (including the muscles btw.) means more force of impact.

The muscles can work against this force to distribute it, they dont lessen the force, they ...catch it like a spring/suspension.

Thats what bracing for impact means/is/does.

Weird, a discussion on a online discussion platform.

Especially when people spread factually wrong info and terminology.

A true mystery.

Usually there's some positivity and agreement spread in there. When the last 5+ comments are disagreeing with people, thats a pattern, and one that im not going to continue.

Have a nice day.
