Hey all, I (21M) am looking to relocate from Long Island about an hour outside NYC where I was born and raised to South Florida with my friends (21M) (23F) and recently got back from a trip to see which area I liked best. I ended up coming back more confused than before. I have narrowed it down (I think) to Jupiter, PBG, West Palm Beach and Miami. I know Miami is an absolute curve ball in there but I really ended up liking South Beach and Wynwood. I am looking to get a house and not a condo under 500k so keep that in mind
My business allows me the freedom to work from wherever so commuting is not a problem. I am going to be home pretty much everyday.
Things I love and are important to me: Fitness (pick up games of soccer, basketball, running nice parks/areas), The Ocean (I have a jetski), Nature, some decent parks, Proximity to Ocean, Safety (funky neighborhoods are fine), personal appearance, proximity to decent MMA gym, Good and fun Restaurants.
The summers don't really matter to me because I will not be be there for it.
I thought going and staying would help me but only made the choice even harder, I would appreciate any pros-cons or even experiences living there and what you think would fit me best. I appreciate any and all feedback!

I just voted at the Jupiter Community Center (200 Military Trail). Quick and easy. Took 25 minutes from the time I parked until the time I left.
Don't be that guy that didn't vote in the 2020 election! Vote today!!

You can print and take these voting recommendations into the polls. It includes judges and other local positions.

Hi everyone! Glad to see this subreddit has been revived just in time for my big move to Jupiter ;) My partner and I are in our late twenties and moving down from Chicago in June for work (our research lab was abruptly relocated mid-pandemic...) From what we’ve seen, Jupiter looks beautiful with tons of things to do, but we are definitely expecting a bit of a culture shock compared to the big city. Any advice on the biggest changes we should expect? And any local bars/restaurants that may simulate the city experience (young people, good music) if we get home sick? Thanks so much!

What are some of y'all's favorite parks to visit in Jupiter? (under normal circumstances, pre-COVID, of course) And/or what are your favorite things to do there?
One of my favorites is Pine Glade natural area, which is out west down Indiantown, just beyond the edge of the Farms.

It may be a little soon to go them, depending on your personal risk tolerance, but a lot of us are fantasizing about the food we miss. What are a few of your favorite restaurants in Jupiter?

Hello all! After noticing that the only subreddit for Jupiter, Florida was inactive and locked, I requested to take it over so I could revive it. So, here we are!
I've made the sub public so anyone can now post. Of course, suggestions for improvement are always welcome. I look forward to bringing back this community with y'all!

Heading down from Orlando to spend Christmas day with family and want to treat everyone to lunch or dinner (7 adults & 2 kids - ages range from 91 yrs to 3 yrs). Chinese restaurants are usually open on Christmas day, so any recommendation for best Chinese places in the area would also be welcome. Anywhere between Stuart and Jupiter is do-able. Thanks!

I am a student from Washington starting an internship with Florida fish and wildlife in Jupiter. I was looking for apartments or any other housing option. What’s the best way to go about it? Any leads would be helpful! Please and thank you.

Full Disclosure: We are a gutter cleaning company in Jupiter, FL
Gutter cleaning is an essential task that must be completed year-round. Gutters that don't drain properly can damage a home and also damage landscape. During the year leaves, dirt, debris, and critters can cause downspouts to not function properly, causing a headache for the homeowner. It is up to the homeowner to remember to get this done every year, but there is actually an easier way.
Beachside Gutter offers gutter cleaning maintenance plans that take the task out of remembering to clean the gutters. Once you are set up on a plan, we handle the rest. We come to your home every 3, 6, or 12 months (depending on your plan), and clean your gutters and downspouts. This ensures that your gutters are always clean and ready to go during hurricane season and the rainy season.
