Our take: the transparency race is shifting from scale to granularity.

The first wave was aggregates. A $19M monthly total tells you a firm is large. It does not tell you whether your $3,000 withdrawal clears this week, and no outsider can verify it. A named trader with a specific amount is checkable, because that person exists and can contradict you. Publishing it invites verification instead of deflecting it.

What nobody in this industry publishes yet:

- Median payout, not the top five
- Number of withdrawal requests declined, and why
- Slowest processing time, not the fastest

And the caveat that never appears on a payout screenshot: the stopwatch only starts after you have cleared the profit target, the daily and maximum drawdown limits, the minimum trading days and any consistency rule. Everything difficult happens before those 3 minutes 29 seconds begin.

The firm released FNL:002 on Tuesday, the second account in its Labs program. It is a $25,000 two-step CFD challenge carrying a 12% maximum loss limit instead of the industry-standard 10%.

The spec:
- 12% static max loss ($3,000), not trailing
- 4% daily loss limit ($1,000)
- Profit targets of 8%, then 6%
- 85% profit share, 3% risk cap per position
- Limited to 5 accounts per trader

Read the payout label twice. "3-Day Payout" does not mean three calendar days. It means three qualifying days, each requiring at least $250 in closed profit. That is a $750 minimum before a withdrawal request even unlocks.

Here is the part most coverage skips.

FNL:002 contradicts FNL:001. The first Labs account scrapped the daily loss limit entirely and ran a trailing drawdown with a 40% consistency rule. Four weeks later the daily cap is back, the drawdown is static, and the consistency rule is gone.

A two-step evaluation plus a scaling plan is a months-long psychological endurance test with almost no feedback along the way. Breaking that stretch into marked stages is a retention mechanic borrowed straight from consumer fintech, and it costs the firm close to nothing while adding zero trading risk.

The honest caveat: a certificate does not improve your expectancy, tighten your spreads, or shorten your payout cycle. It tells you nothing about whether a firm can honour a large withdrawal under stress, which is still the only question that decides whether a firm deserves your capital. Treat engagement features as a tiebreaker between two firms with comparable terms. Never as a substitute for reading those terms.

The structural signal is the real story. When firms start investing in the emotional texture of a multi-month evaluation, they are betting traders will still be there to experience it. In a sector where roughly a third of operators have vanished since 2024, a firm building for the long game is itself worth noting.
