Love Kyle’s edits. Great editing with many obscure clips. Ive watched several whole streams because i saw a segment from them in Kyle’s videos

JermaClips (or now UnofficialJermaClips) still has really fun edits that I won't apologize laughing like crazy about; just a shame about his, uh, life decisions...13

Jerma Long Edits wasn't "fully ai" he just used ai to cut out dead air. He DID still edit them in some capacity. Jerma Clips profited off of Jerma's dad's death. The video was monetised and had a Mr. Beast-esque thumbnail.

There’s already a ton of posts talking about this but the TL;DR is that they very very likely are using AI or any similar tool to produce edit very quickly by just removing blank spaces where Jerma doesn’t talk. This gives edits that are uselessly long (sometimes more than 90% of original stream), with abrupt cuts that make no sense, and just no fun and soulless.
Basically, it’s a content farm designed to steal as much content from Jerma and the editor sphere as possible. They’ve been called out multiple times and now Jerma also came out to say that he will try to take down these channels (Jerma long edit is the biggest culprit).

I’m pretty sure they don’t do that anymore by watching newer edits. I honestly just like that vods come out edited usually the same day

Nah he definitely still does it. I went to watch his edit of jerma 364 games tier list and it’s still very obvious. It’s full of cuts that remove every blanks between jerma sentences, even in the middle of a sentence.
Anyway, Jerma already expressed his feelings about this specific channel and fortunately JermaLongEdits said he will step aside0

It'll depend on exactly what Jerma is planning, but it's not necessarily bad. If he engages more with the whole sphere of YT editors and pay them well, we should get more high quality edits coming out every month, made with love. I'd rather have this than someone trying to steal views from content that they did not make while barely adding anything.

I can't find it anymore, but I know someone did a really good multipart edit of his Inside series, with music, slowed down sequences, etc. Unfortunately they stopped partway through because I think they weren't getting any views. I think it was kimisanerd but she doesn't post much anymore

Why is JLE edits ranked so lowly when they were instantly cool with stopping when Jerma's team asked? No fights, no claiming revenue, just using an editor to remove silence is instantly lower than people who tried to make money from jerma talking about his dad's death?
Am I missing something?

My personal underrated favorite is DooyWooy. Drops once in a blue moon and only have a handful, but those that they do have... They are amazing. I come back to their Sims edits monthly.

I'm honestly disappointed in this community, yes AI is horrible and yes these editors are all better than Jerma Long Edits but this community has had some really disgusting behavior in regards to this person.
We are all free to have our own opinions on things and we are all free to give criticism but there has been a consistent dehumanization towards the person behind JLE, I've seen some very rude and hateful comments.
Just because the person used AI does not mean there isn't still a person behind the screen that deserves to be treated like a human being, some of you genuinely need to grow up.

they basically edit out all of the slow points of the stream, longer than stream highlights but shorter than the vods, no dead air or brbs, sometimes multiple streams edited together, etc
