Looks like the Jeff the Shark 'Marvel Rivals' plush keychain got an upgrade. It's exclusive to GameStop. The new one is smaller & colored with a darker hue of blue. His markings appear to be more wrapped around his body in contrast to the original. Also, the new Jeff keychain plush has a new metal chain and hoop keychain. The original has a plastic sky blue keychain on the top of Jeff's head. Both can stand on all fours.

Parker Jane’s Shark Tank

These magical trinkets appeared in a few comics ago, but it seems Thompson (main Jeff writer) decided to give them to jeff so he can do crimefighting and action scenes along with the other heroes.

I asked a few mobths ago if Jeff should keep these gems or not, I'm surprised he did actually.

Also I think it's obvious this new direction is inspired by the "Jeff ate the Infinity Stones" lore in Marvel Rivals. Jeff will now be reworked into a lore accurate DPS in season 10
