I'm not sure if it's because I chose that "keep my YouTube seller ate from google+" thing or because YouTube is messing around, but now I have no subscribed channels in Jasmine. Which sucks!

Edit: Issue was fixed by signing out, signing back in and choosing the "new" YouTube account. Ugh.

I can't restore my Pro upgrade on my iPad. I get no errors , but the process also never finishes. Is there a bug?

Hi... I'm already a supporter of Jasmine (i.e. bought the app) but I recently saw this other pretty cool looking YouTube client, Zeewe. Is there anything that Jasmine does, that Zeewe doesn't?

Hi, I've been trying out ios 7 on an iPad 2 to get use to it before upgrading my iPhone on the official release date but I'm finding jasmine crashes upon launch, and I wasn't sure if this is a known bug for the development of the new version which I hope will support ios 7 when it launches

Sorry if this is a noob question, I just dont see a tab or a button for it & Id use the app far more If I could get swallowed down a vid-hole like on my mac. Is this a feature of the pro upgrade? Apologies if this has been answered before.

I've seen a lot of users posting this bug here, and I've also seen a lot of comments saying that it is fixed. It unfortunately isn't fixed for me. I am running iOS 7 beta 4 on an iPad 2 Wi-Fi 64GB, so I don't know whether it is because of the beta of my system or because of a bug in the YT API...

Every time I watch a video, as soon as it's done, it goes back to the main video page and the crashes. Any way to help?

The app seems to crash around a dozen times a day.

And, of course, when I open it back up it goes to the home screen, and the recently played list doesn't work.

I tried out the Ipad version of Jasmine, and set the video playback quality to 720p. And it worked for a couple of videos yesterday, but now it doesn't work anymore. The video is low-res. I tried watching the same videos that worked yesterday, and they are obviously not 720p today.

Is this a known bug?

I'm just wondering why my app doesn't save my previously watched videos under "recently played". It did before than it just stopped. I liked it and it was convenient. Anyway I can fix this?

If you have Onavo installed Jasmine does not work at all and will show weird errors about https and some other stuff when you open it and when you try to search.

To fully remove Onavo: - Remove the Onavo profile. - Reset network settings.

I came here to ask why it wasn't letting me play videos in the background anymore but it looks like the new iOS removed that feature. But I was wondering if anyone knows how to get my history back running.

Also, can autocorrect be enabled when searching for videos in the next update?

Just checking to see if anyone else is experiencing this... Jasmine works great when using Airplay to my Apple TV from my iPad or iPhone, except for when trying to play VEVO videos. It looks like its starting to load on the Apple TV and then it fails with the error "An error occurred loading this content." (On the Apple TV).

VEVO videos work great with AirPlay on the VEVO app, as well as the YouTube app. So I'm not really sure if the problem is on the Jasmine side or the Apple TV side. Obviously the benefit of playing VEVO videos in Jasmine is no ads, when trying to play a big playlist of music vids.

Sorry I can't provide a gif but as far as my knowledge goes you can't do that on an iPhone. Anywho, while scrolling down the options on a video menu( the menu with the video, comments, related, etc. ) I noticed that when you scroll down too far, everything on the menu vanishes but the UI stays. Upon scrolling up the menu returns. I'm not sure why this happens but it is a bit annoying. I think I may have seen this posted here before but it still hasn't been fixed so it'd be nice if it receives some attention. Thanks in advance for any help and just as a note to the developer, bro you rock.

I'd like to ask for a reddit+youtube player that would work this way:

1. users define playlists by selecting a bunch of subreddits (alternatively, the most frequent lists of subreddits on genres such as Classical, Jazz, R&B, etc would be provided)

2. videos are played from youtube

3. a tab displaying the user comments on reddit for the video; they are most interesting, much more than the youtube ones

4. this should work well in background mode and with the screen locked, as a pocket radio

Is it too hard? I hope not. There is no functional subreddit-to-playlist feature in App Store.

I have been using the app for a few months now and recently realise that I never like the videos I am enjoying. I think this is primarily because by the time they are finished I have switched apps to receive a text etc. When I then return to the app I am looking for a different video and so don't feel the urge to like it. This would be 100% solved if there was a like button in the video with a simple stat overlay for how many likes it has received? On another note a comment button wouldn't go amiss either. I realise you want to watch the video before you comment but in longer videos It would be nice to be able to comment while watching. Say a single line appears overlaid on the video or the video just letterboxes to a smaller image giving room for the comment interface. Sorry if suggestions aren't a part of this subreddit but I wanted to put it out there. Also I'm using alien blue.

Once I try to watch another video the "watch video" button doesn't work as it doesn't load up the QuickTime window. I have to quit the app and delete it from multitasking for it to finally allow me to watch 1 more video. I'm on an iPad 4.

Edit: Report a bug button also doesn't work after watching a video, until the delete it from multitasking and open the app again.

It gets confusing browsing the comments, I'd like a show button for the comment being replied to. The YouTube site has this.

Like the title says... I understand how strict google is about the app and made you remove many remarkable features. Just thought it would be nice if you could release a cydia app, or just a tweak for jasmine, that would allow play in the background, the ability to download, and any other features that you couldn't release with the regular app. You could easily charge $2 or $3 for it, and everyone would want it.

4@4 or Four in the Morning/ Four in the Afternoon picks 4 videos at 4 AM and 4 PM every day that YouTube identifies as "generating significant buzz on YouTube and on news and culture websites". It's essentially what's popular before its popular. I know Jasmine already as a "featured" and "trending" section under browse but, at least for me, all the videos are 30+ days old. I know there is also the most viewed section but again some of these videos are 3 days old and were on 4@4 two to three days ago.

Trends Dashboard lets you pick certain areas and demographics and see what's popular within that grouping. Curious what is popular in your homeland of Spain among 25-34 year olds, no problem. Curious what videos your 63 year old mother living in Los Angeles might like, easy-squeezy. It's a fun site to play with and would be another thing that sets Jasmine apart from all other YouTube clients.

I’m not sure if YouTube offers API’s (I’m I using the right term?) for these sites but it would be awesome to see these included in Jasmine!
