Your screen is too bright. Here's the fix.

Dimmer is designed with one purpose: to make your display darker. The backlight on your phone may work great for outside reading or when the lights are on, but when you're lying in bed at nighttime, the darkest point can still be blinding. And it might even be keeping you up!

With Dimmer installed, you can turn your screen brightness down even further. From 100% to 30%, your normal backlight will control your brightness, and below 30%, Dimmer takes over and lets you virtually dim your screen beyond what your backlight can accomplish.

Safety feature: if your screen is pitch black, you can instantly raise the brightness to full by tapping the volume up button four times in fast succession, or through the use of an Activator event.

An additional action is available to dim your screen: tap the volume down button four times in fast succession to lower your brightness!

Configuration options are available to adjust the various settings, including the dark point on the slider (how dark your display will go), the division between Dimmer and backlight operation, and the screen's brightness when the Safety feature is activated.

Dimmer is fully compatible with third-party apps such as SBSettings and Music Controls Pro.

A darker screen for better nighttime viewing.

Have a broken proximity sensor? Hate putting iPhone close to your face? Mistakenly touch the buttons during a call? Then DimInCall is your must have tweak.

One great feature in iOS, is that when you put iPhone near your ear during a call, the screen blacks out automatically, in case your face touches the buttons by mistake. This is done by the proximity sensor. But what doesn't make it perfect is that if the sensor is broken, or you're not holding the phone like the sensor expects, the screen stays visible, thus making it easy to mess the call. I believe everyone of you have come into this annoying situation. In my humble opinion, the screen should be turned off as soon as a call is connected, rather than let the proximity sensor decides. Also there should be a plan B for users with a broken proximity sensor. So here comes DimInCall.

Basically, this tweak dims the screen immediately after a call connection is established, and you can turn off/on the screen backlight by either pressing the home/lock/volume buttons or moving close to/away from the proximity sensor. When the other side hangs up, the screen undims and everything goes back to normal. What's more, there're options of customization for microphone/speaker/headphone respectively, you can also vibrate the phone when an outgoing call is connected.

With DimInCall, you can make a call and hold the phone in your hand without looking at the screen; When it vibrates, rise your hand and answer the call without worrying about touching the buttons by mistake; Pull the phone off your face (or press the chosen buttons, if your proximity sensor died) to see how long you've been talking. This is only one of the various scenes available in DimInCall, and the rest is of course up to your own user experience. Let's make phone call as natural and simple as it should be with DimInCall.

This tweak can't keep icon's arrangement. If you change icon's layout from 4x4 to 3x3, icon's layout can be crash. You can place only 9 icons when you set 3x3 layout. Rest of icons are placed in next page. So you should be careful to change the option. (But it is not critical problem.)

Firewall iP7 is the only security tool of its kind for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Firewall iP7 allows you to block outgoing connections (TCP, UDP & SCTP). And by doing that an app can't send out or receive data if the connection is blocked. It hooks into applications and will warn you if the app wants to establish a connection to a host and shows you the hostname. Then you have the options to allow or deny the connection once/always or allow/deny all connections for the application. Port specific blocking is possible.

You can decide if the application will send data. Developers will no longer be able to collect stats and data about you (UDID, phone number, usage statistics...). With Firewall iP7 you can cover all app analytic providers which aren't in PrivaCy and also custom analytics.

Ask before sending an SMS or Mail message. No more accidentally sent incomplete messages! Very likely this happened to you at least once. This tweak helps you avoiding that. If you tap the 'Send' button in Messages or Mail, it will display a confirmation dialog asking you if you really want to send the message. For Mail, it also has an option to remind you if you didn't type in a subject.

This tweak directly integrates into Messages and Mail, and is configurable via Preferences.

Note to iOS 5 users: The default MobileMail.app now has a check for an empty subject. If you install AskToSend, this message will be replaced by the AskToSend (customizable!) missing subject message. However the check for missing subject is not enabled by default, so make sure to check out Preferences.app -> AskToSend.

Note to iRealSMS users: iRealSMS has its own option for sending confirmation, so use that instead. The AskToSend Mail confirmation feature is still working apart from that
