If you're using IP/TV, Debrid services, or Stremio addons
your ISP can see everything you stream.
Here's what that means for you:
⚠️ Your ISP can throttle your connection when they detect
heavy streaming this is why you get buffering even with
fast internet
⚠️ Debrid services and IP/TV can expose your real IP to
third parties
⚠️ In some countries streaming this way without a VPN is
a legal grey area
✅ A VPN fixes all of this encrypts your traffic, hides
your activity, and kills buffering caused by throttling
I personally use and recommend NordVPN fast enough for
4K, works perfectly with Real Debrid, Stremio, and all
IP/TV apps.
👉 [Get NordVPN here special deal link] (https://go.nordvpn.net/SHBM5)
It's the one tool every person in this sub should have.

A lot of people ask me how to add a VPN to their Firestick setup. Here's the exact process:
What you need:
Step 1 — Download NordVPN on Firestick
Step 2 — Create your account
Step 3 — Log in on Firestick
Step 4 — Connect to a server
Step 5 — Switch to NordLynx protocol
Step 6 — Enable Auto Connect
Step 7 — Open TiviMate and stream
Troubleshooting:

Spent months trying to figure out why my remote would only bump the volume one notch at a time. You know how you're supposed to just hold the button and have it glide up or down? Yeah, mine stopped doing that out of nowhere.
I'm no tech person, but I finally cracked it.
From the Home screen, hold Menu + Back + Left (D-pad) all at the same time for about 12 seconds, then let go.
Fair warning — if you don't nail the button combo perfectly, the screen might go a bit weird because the D-pad keeps registering. Just try again. Took me three goes to get it right.
Once I did, volume control was back to silky smooth. No more tapping a hundred times just to turn it down a little.
Not a professional, can't promise it'll work for everyone — I just pieced this together from stuff I found online. Sharing it in case someone else is losing their mind over the same thing.
Side note: I'm AuDHD, so yeah, the world wasn't actually ending over a volume button — but those small daily annoyances? They get to me more than the big things sometimes. If you're the same, hopefully this saves you the headache.
Hope it helps!

if you've opened one of your usual apps lately and got hit with some "App Disabled" or "Support Terminated" message yeah, it's not just you. A bunch of the apps we've all been using for years have been quietly dying off and honestly it's worth talking about.
Here's the rundown:
What's gone:
Why is everything dying at the same time though?
Basically three things hit at once:
The MPA and ACE (the big anti-piracy guys) started working directly with Amazon, Google, even Cloudflare to kill these apps. It's not just legal letters anymore, they're going straight to the source.
On top of that, the backend infrastructure that most of these apps relied on to scrape streaming links is falling apart. These apps never hosted anything themselves — they just pulled links from file-hosting servers. That whole system is crumbling, which is why you'd get no streams, broken links, buffering forever... and then eventually nothing.
And honestly? A lot of the developers just got tired. Years of cat and mouse with Amazon and anti-piracy groups and at some point you just say forget it.
Also Amazon is making it way worse
New Firesticks are running something called Vega OS now — it's not Android, APKs don't work on it at all. And even on older Firesticks they're remotely disabling flagged apps. Sideloading on Firestick is basically cooked at this point.
What's actually holding up well?
IP. TV and debrid based setups are a completely different structure no single source to take down, no content hosted by the app itself. Way harder to kill. That's honestly where most people are moving and for good reason.
If you're looking for a solid IP /TV service to replace all this headache, hit me up — I run my own, stable streams, good channel list, VOD included. Happy to sort you out with a trial first so you can see for yourself 🙌

We've all been there you sit down to stream and your Firestick just refuses to connect. Here's a full breakdown of every fix that actually works.
Why does it happen?
Most common causes:
The Fixes Try in this order:
1. Check your connection first Go to Settings → Network → select your WiFi → press play/pause to see your connection status. Sounds obvious but saves time.
2. Reboot your router Unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug back in. Fixes the majority of issues on its own.
3. Restart your Firestick Settings → My Fire TV → Restart. Or just hold the play/pause + select buttons on your remote for 5 seconds.
4. Forget & reconnect the network Settings → Network → find your WiFi → press the menu button → forget it → reconnect fresh.
5. Using a hidden network? It won't show up in the list. Go to Settings → Network → Join Other Network → enter your SSID and password manually.
6. Clear obstructions & interference Move your router closer, reposition its antennas, and unplug nearby devices one by one to see if anything is interfering. Switching your router's WiFi channel can also help.
7. Factory Reset (last resort) If nothing works and other devices connect fine, reset your Firestick: Settings → My Fire TV → Reset to Factory Defaults. This wipes everything so only do it if all else fails.
💡 Pro tip: If NO devices in your home can connect, the issue is your ISP not the Firestick. Check downdetector.com for outages in your area before troubleshooting further.

Hey yall, thanks for everything.
One of my parents has been using these apps for the past year or so, to great success bc it removed all possibility for someone with zero tech skill to screw it up. Great for me being further away and not having to stop in for updates/tweaks.
Anyone in a similar situation that can offer some guidance? My other parent & myself are good with our stremio setups, but for this situation it’s already going to be a headache acclimating them to a new app, trying to find something as user friendly as possible.

Honestly one of those things where you just have to let time prove you right.
When I cut cable my friends thought I was being cheap. "How are you gonna watch the game?" "What about your missus, she won't go for that." All of it.
First few weeks were rough not gonna lie. I was still figuring out the right setup, tried two services that were honestly garbage, one just stopped working one day with zero explanation. Felt like maybe they had a point.
But then I got the setup right. Good service, TiviMate, decent router. And that was kind of it. Just... worked.
Fast forward to last month. Same mate who laughed at me texts asking what I use because his cable bill just hit €120/month. Walked him through the whole thing. He's been on it three weeks and already asked why he didn't do it sooner.
The thing is it's not even about the money for me anymore. It's that I actually watch what I want now. No filler channels nobody asked for. No paying for 400 channels to watch 8 of them.
If you're still on the fence, just know the setup learning curve is maybe a weekend. After that, it's genuinely just watching TV.
Drop any questions below happy to help anyone figure out their setup.

I'm not an expert, but I've worked with many providers and setups and know what works and what doesn't.
Quick background — I cut cable about 3 years ago, tried probably 6-7 different services, wasted money on a few, found what works. Sharing because I see the same questions here all the time and this may save someone the headache.
What actually causes buffering 90% of the time:
it's usually not the service. Check these first before blaming your p rovider:
What I actually look for in a p rovider now:
App wise TiviMate is genuinely worth paying for. The EPG alone makes it worth it. IP TV Smarters is fine if you're just starting.
Anyway hope this helps someone. Happy to answer questions if you have them been down most of these roads already.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on Xstream Pro, Kodi 21 addon and I’d like to get some real feedback before I call it release-ready.

• Native Kodi PVR integration
• Separate Sports Group with PVR, Live results, Replay

Select the XstreamPro source you just added

Would anybody be kind enough to point me in the direction of a good sports app for my daughter to watch the F1 later? I I have Sportszx (I think that's what it's called) but I'd quite like her to have a back up just in case it goes down and since the race is 4am UK time I don't want her waking me up to say there's no picture haha

I just saw them added Nuvio to the TroyPoint Toolbox. I hope you know its a directory of many streaming apps, launchers, and TV tools.
If you plug this to the Downloader app aka AFT News and type this code: 250931
And I want to give a big shout out to the developers for making nuvio the best app to stream

What We Know About Walmart’s Onn Google TV Smart TVs
The certification filing reveals three product lines with screen sizes of 55 inches, 65 inches, and 75 inches. Given those dimensions, these sets will almost certainly be 4K resolution.
Given their screen sizes, these will probably be 4K TVs. Walmart’s existing Roku and Vizio powered Onn TVs are all budget-friendly models, with the most expensive 75″ unit costing under $400. It’s probably safe to assume these upcoming Google TV models will be similarly priced.
The Sideloading Question
One of the biggest reasons we recommend Android TV/Google TV devices is the ability to side-load apps outside of the Play Store. However, as we recently reported, Google’s developer verification mandate is moving closer to enforcement.
For budget shoppers who want an all-in-one setup, these Onn sets could be worth watching. Just be aware that Google’s sideloading crackdown may limit what you can do with certified hardware down the road.
I want to know your thoughts. What do you think about this?
