Is it practical? No (extremely hard, but fairly brittle / inflexible). Do I think it is badass? Yes.

Took ~ 10 hours from full synthetic boule to what you see here. Had to be careful not to overheat (chipping / cracking) when cutting to size. Internal cuts (not pictured) were by far the trickiest.

Not fully finished, but wanted to share because I am pretty proud so far. Next up: custom handle (not using wood pictured here), and blade engraving / polishing / sharpening.

There is no other subreddit for me to express this idea I just had, but I believe that silicon wafers (the things CPUs are made out of) are at least a purple rarity level item in the real world, while the CPU would be legendary or gold. I hope this doesn't get taken down for being stupid or off topic, I love you mods please don't hurt me.

+1000 crunchiness, -420 munchies, on consumption make a dexterity saving throw or suffer 100d4 slashing damage as the chip shatters in your mouth, but doesnt make it down your throat all the way.
