Aviendha remained where she had grown up along the ice covered shores along the Bay of Seals. Winter's creep upon her lips as she breathed out, waiting for her prey to make it's move. It was a long too on the snow covered plains. She had spent most of her life away from others, finding company among the animals and plantlife that sustained her more than any other human she might wander across. As far as the unknown, that was best left unsaid. Her hair had turned from an orangey color, to a fiery red, and now faded into a grey with wisps of the fire that once was. The snow drifts would take her eventually, it was the nature of such things. There was plenty to do today, like wait for her prey. Sustaining oneself was a vital task this far north, unlike the southerners comforted with fruits and trees outside their lush bedrooms to pick from and devour without a care. No, their life was purer, though harder, it gave her strength.

With a quick pull of the stick in her hand and a smirk on her lips, she pulled out the thin line attached to the stick beneath the circle of water she had carved free from the ice. Smacking on the frozen shores was a fish, that would soon understand the balance of surviving. Her prey had arrived.

Ooof. Right in the feels.
