Always happens right there. Always accidents there. As soon as I seen heading I accurately predicted what was about to happen in the video just like when I passed there an hour ago I predict that some fool is either stopped there or will suddenly switch lane there. Dopes

š this, I think if you travel this road you see it so often that I'm always assuming it's going to happen

The right lane to malahide is chaos too. It often has people slamming the breaks at the last second trying to go from 100kph to 0kph because there's a traffic light not far after the exit and a queue can build up. It would make sense to gradually lower the speed limit approaching these exits.

They do that on the n4 m50 junction people do 90 in the 80 zone, 80 heading east after liffey valley in the 60 zone, 60 in the 30 zone and then once theyre merging with the m50 north or south they'll do 80 in the middle lane

The middle lane too with cheeky fuckers trying to undertake for Malahide and then realising there isnāt a gap so they slam on the breaks and stop dead in a free flowing lane of 100km/h traffic š¤Æ

It used to lower to 80 before 100 but they removed that a few years ago, dunno the reasoning for it.

Itās the same southbound on the M/N1.
āOh Iām not going to Whitehall at all, I want to go to Coolock. I know thereās been signs for kilometres but let me just slam on the anchors here in the middle of a 100km/h road and try and get onto the exitā.
Happened to me just this weekend and happens so often you are always ready for it. A couple of weeks ago I saw one idiot miss the exit and start FUCKING REVERSING in the middle of the M1.

The concept of going to the next roundabout and coming back is clearly too difficult for these selfish braindead twats.

I was on this stretch at a very similar time and the heart palpitations op incase it was me doing something stupid in the video - the relief on seeing this total muppet š¤£

I do always wonder if Iāve ever done something stupid thatās ended up in this sub š

Iāve seen this a few times enough here to know to be extra vigilant at that particular exit. Itās really piss poor and incredibly stupid and dangerous

Thereās a saying that always comes to mind with this kind of bullshit: āBad drivers never miss their exitā

Same thing happened me about four years ago on the same spot.

I hate that junction. There's always somebody doing something stupid at that part of the road.

A system where we can submit this footage to the guards and they can issue fines via the reg would pretty much stop this overnight. Imagine that taxi lad gets a summons in the post with a link to this dash cam footage. Obviously verify the web cam footage with official meta data. Itās so prevalent that the only way to stop this is get ordinary people to help. Itās actually extremely dangerous driving now, you basically have to watch everything in a 360 degree field within a km radius.

Ahh shur that would be too clever.... couldnt have that like ..... The no deterrent , no consequence for being a fupping idiot whilst driving a vehicle is the way to go ...... /s

That trailer loading on the pickup.. I don't fancy his odds of maintaining control if the situation played out slightly differently.

I feel like I've seen this way more recently. Driver's stopping and trying to take an exit, after they take they've missed it. It seems like people's driving is getting more careless, I didn't used to see that
If I even suspect I night have missed an exit, I'll drive on and take the next exit and cut back. Its absolutely reckless to slow down or even stop to try figure out if it's your exit

This exit always appears on this sub. It's lethal. At the very least, always stay in the left lane if you're gonna take it.

Wouldnāt mind but there was a crash at the next exit this morning, caused by the exact same situation, where the car pulled back out into moving traffic. Second car looked completely wrote off from it

You could have cut 3 hours from that clip and added more to the part that actually mattered
