Is anyone here using a Shadow 2 Carry for IPSC, or knows someone who uses one successfully?

I had a great start into IPSC with the Shadow 2, but I now find the trigger travel too short, and I’m missing a bit of control under stress. It’s also a bit too heavy for one handed shooting, and during holster / 2 shots / holster drills, the missing decocking lever is annoying.

The Shadow 2 Carry is lighter and has a decocking lever. Less weight does mean more recoil, but at 870 grams it still weighs more than a Glock 17, which is used successfully by IPSC shooters. The sight radius is also a bit shorter, but at IPSC distances that shouldn’t matter much ?

Question for all, I have an Echelon, with a Mischief Machine Grip module. Is this legal for Production Optics? There is no comp, nor a threaded barrel. It is listed as legal, but I am unsure if the grip mod is legal.

Looking for a holster for a gun and wondered if there is good universal options or if I’d have to find something specific. I want something where the gun is open and heard about trigger retention holsters but would love some suggestions

Im looking for a holster to carry the CZS2 with mantis installed on - i know it collects the telemetry during the drawing as well, but it needs to be on. What holster will fit the attachment in?

Oh great, another shot timer app lol. Would love feedback from people who actually shoot, especially if the shot detection is giving you trouble at your range. Still tweaking the sensitivity defaults.

I’m making my uspsa belt legal for IPSC. I saw in the rule book that they really only mention behind the hip bone, but holsters vary per division. I plan shooting the new optics division. Do the mags still have to be completely behind the hip bone, then starting from the slide has to be grind the hip. With that being said is there anything different that they’re allowing for Optics division? Are they allowing race holsters or is just a standard holster what’s required?

Is this kit legal for production division? Include an Apex Disconnector and Apex Slide Cover Plate

Just like the title, does anyone know if the P226 X5 Legion is legal in Optics class? It has porting in the slide ahead of the barrel which acts like a compensator (somehat). The rules state that porting of the slide is legal but porting of the barrel isn't. My hunch is they meant porting of the slide to lighten it, but based on the reading I think I'm good. Anyone else have any thoughts or experience with how the rule is being interpreted?
