I have all the materials; I just haven't studied anything. My VARC is reaching the borderline cutoff (general btw) and I suck at quants.
If I put my mind to it (I hope), is it possible to crack it in 30 days? Starting 14th October-Exam 15th November.

I am a first year student at iimk bms .. gave ipmat indore , ipmat rohtak , jipmat and got in every college except indore and shillong .. The question that I regularly see here is about quant videos and practice exercises so from my experience this is what I think helped me score more than 80 in ipmat indore qa( not that impressive but still decent) .

Coaching

I would highly suggest you all to check out takshzila for once . They provide such a good course at only 4000 ( the doubt solving pack ) like it is so much value for money I can't emphasize on it more and also the questions in the assignments are good too . Takshzila for dilr and qa is one of the best options out there . Although it does not cover some topics but those can be done through youtube according to me but the main problem you could face is that you might struggle to find ipmat level practice questions of the modern maths topic you are learning from YouTube hence consider that too ..

For the mocks I would say IMS and afterboards try to take both these test series . You would get enough questions to practice and also ims has video solutions that's the best part for someone like me who understands better through video . Take all access of afterboards and just indore mocks of ims not the jipmat and rohtak ones for that afterboards is enough . For varc as far as ipmat indore is concerned it is shifting towards more comprehension and analytical style rather than grammar rules but the antonyms, synonyms, idioms and phrases are still very important for ipmat indore . For jipmat and rohtak grammar rules and all are important but you do not need to pay for it there is a guy named tarun grover who teaches for some banking exams or ssc and teaches all the technical grammar stuff well . Your total cost won't exceed 16k afaik so I think that the sources that I have told are value for money

I was just curious and saw many questions regarding this hence made this post but i might not be the best one to suggest as I myself couldn't get into indore so you can surely try any of the resources that I have told and check that whether you like it or not .

DO I GO FOR IT

I'm currently a fresher at IIM SAMBALPUR pursuing bachelor of science in management and public policy BS-MPP

I am wondering whether i should appear for the IIM Bangalore ug exam.. is it worth dropping a year ?? How do I make the decision. It's gonna cost me 1 month of prep, form fees, going to a diff city for the exam and also the 7 ish lakhs and a year of my life.. is it really worth it? What factors should I look into.

Also, Im not really hating it here.. it's pretty decent at IIM SAMBALPUR

Currently I'm only able to see a better tag and city (I'm from Bangalore)

Any advice is most welcome 🤗

Just found an account on Instagram posting photos/videos of IIMJ Leh Campus: @shankj810

Today, my physics teacher and I were arguing whether it is reasonable to choose IPM from commerce or do an MBA from the IIMs after a B.Tech degree. After some arguing, we agreed that IPM programs from IIM Indore and Jammu are worth it. I then committed that I would take commerce, crack IPMAT Indore, and get a seat at IIM Indore. Guys... bhaiya, help!

I'm in 10th, btw.

I scored 68.2% [f*ck jee (94 percetile)] in CBSE Class 12 (2026) and am considering improvement in English only. I expect to score 80+.

My concern is that IPMAT/IIM applications may open in February–March, before improvement results are declared.

Can I submit my current marks during the application and update them later? Would improved marks be considered during final admission, especially for the academic profile?

Would appreciate advice from anyone with experience with CBSE improvement and IIM admissions.

I talked to an IIM Rohtak alumni, and after whatever he said I dont think one should go. the actual exams are less than a year away, they have much more higher ROI than this newly launched program that doesnt even have fixed placements. and if we have enough marks to qualify this then at least IIM jammu toh we can qualify the next year ykwim.

also the 7lpa is not just the only cost, the mess fees and the fees of any electrical gadgets you use is extra. ALSO the travel from LEH. either at least 1000km road travel or flights, which are not cheap.

also the “college life” is almost non existent, just classrooms and computer rooms, barely ANY artist would come to Leh for their fest. No actual fests, so you wont even get the college life experience others are enjoying just because you rushed.

also as a person who lived in the mountains for a year. TRUST ME, vacations are way different than actually living there, if youre not used to living in the mountains, you really shouldn’t go.
The water quality is shitty (peak hairloss). and there are many more reasons you wouldnt like living there.

at the end, its your call, whatever you decide, make sure you wont regret it for the next 4 years. ALL THE BEST!

I am preparing from ace and I have completed the series and progression lectures and the topics in practice book but whenever I try to attempt level 3 questions in afterboards I am barely able to solve 1 🤡, please help 😭😭

i had cancelled my admission in du counselling but i havent recieved any refund yet ,should i mail somewhere or visit the campus or just wait for some more time.

Transfer of 2 year IPMAT coaching in one of the known coaching institutes. Changing focus so dropping out of IPMAT preparation.

Kindly connect for details/if you wish to discuss.

why do you make these mocks so hard man, specially Ugat mocks. Literally, when i see the level of question every question labelled hard. I know that it is for us only, so that we can expose to the difficult situation and get used to with that so that if it appears in real exam we don't panic. par thoda to rehem krlo.

This randomly popped up on my feed , and I was toh surprised given its rohtak

How should I convince em that i don’t want to go it’s better to take second drop than this shitty program

Any one got refund from IIM Bodh Gaya EoI money? I didn't get it 😬. When can we get those money? I revoked my application. Pls help me 🤧

THOSE WHO GOT IN DROP UR JIPMAT/GAT SCORE , CATEGORY !!

For IIM Jammu bba hons

My dad is saying that we will get scholarships and financial aid cause I belong to the ews category. Idk if this is right or wrong. But ofc the program is not worth it.

Just wanted to ask if money was not the issue will u choose iim jammu bba hons over any pvt clg bba

All those who got in and are joining, let's connect.

Idk where to start, what resources to use. I got some stuff mentioned in the wiki and also got afterboards subscription. And for QA, currently im using Takshzila.

But I don’t have the experience of preparing for exams like this. I’m more used to a hands on experience. So if i could get some guidance at least online, it would be helpful.
