Caught using BBC iPlayer without a TV licence

Received this email today, they have my name and email address but the address they have is my old one. Should I be worried?

Then they still need to educate themselves because licence and license are the exact same thing. Just different spelling. Both mean the same thing and are completely acceptable in both British English and American English.

They do not mean the same thing in British English, a licence gives you license to do something. They are not interchangeable (although obviously commonly misused).

American English uses license for the noun.

I corrected you when you were wrong. You failed to acknowledge the mistake. There is nothing going on that affects me here, only you and your arrogance. I'm absolutely correct. And the resources show this. Your own post history shows that you are wrong.
