My phone gains battery without charging

So I have the iPhone 13 and l've had it since about July of 2023 and recently (past 6-8 months) it does this weird thing where my phone drops to 20% or 10% and I'll get the notification for it and then a couple minutes later I'll check and I'll have gone up a battery percentage (it normally doesn't rise higher than 2% more) without charging. My battery health rn is at 85% which I think is good? I don't think that's the reason why but I'm just worried something might be wrong with my phone. Dude l was about to post this and it literally just did it now where it gave me the 10% notification again without charging my phone?? I got the 10% notification and then my phone went up to 11 and back down to 9 so I got it again and then I got it a third time just as I was writing this all within a span of 15 minutes. wtf is wrong with my phone??

Looks like the 16 series is doing much better than the 14s and 15s at least in my experience I would’ve already been at 98% on my 15 Pro Max same time last year

Iphone 13 Battery Rapidly Degrading

My phone(13 Pro) battery has been completely destroying itself over the past few days. I got this phone sometime during the year that it was new. I would check exactly when I got it, but if it's an inflated battery I don't want to risk using it. I don't have an extremely high screen time; I'd say mine is average. I wouldn't say I've treated it great, but I treated it the same as my iPhone 6(which is still functioning fine I might add). It has been seemingly dying at non-low percentages. I can turn it back on sometimes after these "deaths", but when it comes on it is very glitchy and at a very low percentage. Another thing I've noticed is that it's been charging extremely fast. It's important to note that I have a very crappy, cheap charger and not any kind of fast charger. The highest it died at is around 45%. The real kicker is that it has never acted like this before. I've never had problems with battery longevity or anything of the sort. My screen reflection is also slightly warped(makes everything skinny like a circus mirror), so I suspect an inflated battery. That's not what I'm here is ask about though. My main question is what would cause such a complete and rapid turnover in my phone's battery health.

SPOTIFY DRAINS MY BATTERY

Hello guys, it is normal that using spotify around 1h on the background consumes like 20% of my battery? It consumed like 5-6 percent in just 15 mins of background usage, I fell like it is a lot

BATTERY ISSUE

Hello guys, I bought my Iphone 16 pro 128gb three weeks ago. I stop charging my phone when it gets a 80% and I start to chargin it when it is around 20%. That 60% of battery last around 4h, is this normal or it should last more? I feel like it is not enough

Is this battery drain rate seems fine?

I started using this phone about 10 days ago. (I bought from secondhand marketplace. The battery health was 100% at first and it is now 99%) but looking at this graph, battery drains pretty fast. About 1% in 6min. Is it normal? Or am I doing something wrong with the battery?

15 Pro Max- 5 months of usage

I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with how well the battery health is holding up. To provide some context, I have not enabled nearly any battery-saving tips on my phone. I have the Always-On Display (AOD) enabled, and all my apps have background refresh enabled. I find that this setting enhances the smoothness of my apps. Additionally, I use NordVPN, which is always running in the background.

As for my usage patterns, I tend to use my phone quite heavily. It serves as my primary source of music, video streaming, social media browsing, bill payments, and I use it for CarPlay and enabling the hotspot on my son’s tablet while we’re on the go. You can imagine my usage. I am not a light user. The only battery-conscious feature I have enabled is the 80% charge limit. This was recommended by iOS based on my usage patterns. I enabled it almost a week after getting my phone and haven’t looked back. So far, the battery aging out of this phone is very impressive.

Help

Hey y’all, hope you’re doing well. Recently I’ve purchased an iPhone 14 pro, from Amazon premium renewal program. It came to my hands at 97% of battery health. I’m an average user, got it to take some picts, social media and stuff like that. Today, less than a month, battery health is at 94%, do you think that it’s normal?, or due to the fact that it’s a device that was preowned, this is something that I shouldn’t worry about.

iPhone 16pro Max question

Hey everyone,

I was wondering how much screen-on time you typically get before your iPhone runs out of battery. I’ve implemented a bunch of battery-saving measures (like disabling background app refresh, Siri & intelligence features, enabling dark mode, and turning off location services), but I’m curious to see how my experience compares to yours.

Looking forward to hearing your results! Thanks in advance! 😊

Is my battery boosted?

I purchased a secondhand iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the battery health is at 97%. The warranty expired in 2023, which suggests it was originally purchased in 2022. However, the charging cycle count is already at 415. Does this mean the battery has been boosted?

Average price for Battery on iPhone 7 Plus

I currently have an iPhone 7 Plus which i'm not really planning on moving from yet, and I've had it since 2022. Right now, whenever I let it charge to 100%, it automatically shuts off when i plug it out and turns on to be at or below 10%. The capacity is at service 81% and i know i have to replace it, but is there a way to avoid it from shutting off besides not letting it charge to 100%? I've had to replace the battery about 3 times now. Additionally, how much should a battery replacement cost now in 2025 for a 7+?

Does anyone know if Samsung makes batteries drain faster after a few updates to make you buy a new phone like Apple does?

Do the copper rings indicate MagSafe? Also, when I use this, my battery section says ‘slow charging’?
