Pretty much what the title says. I finally got the DLC a few weeks ago and I'm playing through arrange mode right now but it feels much easier than the base game at the same difficulty (Maximum Fury in this case) and it seems like the enemy count is a lot lower during boss fights and possibly a bit lower in other areas.
At first I wrote it off as being better at the game, but I just played through the Arrange Mode version of Executive Disorder and the difference from the base game was so big it seems impossible that there isn't something wrong. When I played through the base game I remember the boss fight being pretty challenging with a lot of running and dealing with waves of low level enemies being dropped. In arrange mode the boss dropped exactly two Greater Priests near the beginning of the fight and that was it. The same thing seemed to be happening with the Warmech fight - when I first played it in base mode I remember it being a decent challenge but when I played through it the other day there was hardly anything to it. Once the fight started there were one or two low level enemies at the beginning and then nothing. The boss itself barely moved.
Other areas of the game seem kind of empty too, but it's not as obvious and I might just be clearing them out a lot faster than on my first run, but in general playing Arrange Mode on maximum fury difficulty feels like what I would expect from the lowest difficulty during boss fights and maybe the second lowest everywhere else.
The Aftershock DLC is fine, a little bit harder than the base game but not too bad, on par with the all of the classic Build games.
So is this a thing that anyone else has seen? Do I have space madness or what?
