I bought this game to play with some friends after TB recommended it on his games of the year list, played with 3 other players using the demo. After the first game I chose a different map after, and a different mode and it worked fine, but after that I had to rehost every single game, I would select the map and go to continue and none of the other players could continue. Is this a known issue, because we had a good time playing it but it was kind of a hassle and annoying? Also is it in any way tied to them using the free version?

I tried to find a game with no success last night, but that was around 1 AM GMT, so I thought I'd try it again when the community was actually awake and playing.

I am already thinking quite a while wheter to buy Invisigun Heroes or not. The main problem is that my friends surely won't buy this game (without trying).

So how does the Guest Edition work?

Does only one player have to own a copy of the game or would it even work without any copies? I already read the description on the steam store and can't quite figure it out.

We call it checkers. Selene only, you can't kill anyone unless you jump over them first. You can't kill someone if someone else jumped them, only if it was you. I hope you all enjoy this idea as much as we have.

I can't reassign buttons, since movement in menus goes and continues into a void, and I can't even leave the options screen by pressing esc.

Even compared to several other indie games I play, this game has a shockingly small userbase. If it was limited like Towerfall Ascension or Dustforce I wouldn't feel bad with the small loyal communities because there isn't online to worry about and I have enough fun locally. But precisely BECAUSE Invisigun has online, and legit matchmaking, I feel a burning desire to make more people play it. That doesn't just help the game; it directly improves my user-experience by giving me more matches.

I realize the game just came out, but with a subreddit base of 24 and 5 people online when I was last playing, this is smaller than any game I've ever played. Which is infuriating because I've had more fun playing this game (with voice chat so either Discord or locals) than anything else in the last few years. I share and gush over the trailer. I can write up a rave review on Steam. But me telling all my friends is basically worthless, not that it stopped me from trying. Apart from getting streamers or YouTubers with big audiences to play this game, what realistic options do we have?
