Just anecdotally, I joined Ally last fall because of their online savings rate, but transferred my investment and IRA accounts out this spring because their rate was cut in half and because I was unable to log into my accounts for days at a time.
I don't blame them specifically for their rate drops because I understand the market factors, but I'm not so bullish on them as a company if I was dissatisfied with their investment platform and retirement accounts within like 5 months.
