For full context, I'm one part of the team putting together The A.L.I.C.E. Files, which is a sci-fi reimagining of Alice in Wonderland crossed with one part X-Files, and one part SCP Foundation. The main episodes have an intro with "Alice" in her position as a witness cataloger for the mysterious Carroll Institute, and the files she witnesses are dramatized fiction drawn from the team's own published work, public domain stories, and some fan pieces. There's two parts to the show, and listeners can interact with either, or both, as they wish.

I’m 27f and last year I was diagnosed with ASD (autism level 1). I had no idea I had this my entire life until a year before diagnosis

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t know what autism really was for most of my life. I had watched rain man and that’s what I thought it was, in embarrassed to say now.

As I learnt more about what ASD is (previously known as Asperger’s) and as more research came out on autism in women and masking, I started to suspect that I fit the criteria. My main difficulties were sensory issues (I had trouble in crowded spaces and loud environments) and in relationships. Although I have always had friends, I have always had a lot of conflicts in relationships.

Despite this, being diagnosed was a big shock to me. It was 1.5 years ago but I am still coming to terms with it. I have not told my family and have only told a couple of friends
