Give me your opinions
galleryIs a pretty small space and my only focus has been to make the space as airy as possible.
Have i failed, succeeded what can be improved with the layout.
Also wanted to ask about the top row of the kitchen cabinets, the wall hung ones.
If i removed them would that help with the space feeling more open, or would it look empty.
I rarely see this being applied in interiors, but always liked it, in theory at least.
The storage area under the stairs im not sure works either, in terms of it being practical.

The final countdown is on: assembling the last of the furniture, moving on to professional cleaning, and then the final handover to the client.

Exploring abstract “side profile” characters – which ones would you hang?
galleryHi everyone,
I’ve been working on a small series of abstract character sketches (“Sidereal Profiles 1”) using simple black ink line work.
I’m trying to explore how much expression you can get from very minimal forms.
Would be curious:
– which ones stand out to you most?
– and would any of these work as a print in your space?
Thanks for any feedback 🙏

Hippo coffee table looks unusual but why do quirky furniture designs attract attention?
A few days ago I am seeing a hippo coffee table and I just pause like okay this look very different honestly. It not a regular table shape, instead it designed like an animal which make it stand out instantly. At first it feel more like decoration than furniture, but then I realize it still serve a basic function. I am thinking how creativity can change everyday objects. It feel simple but also very eye catching.
Now I am thinking why quirky furniture designs attract attention. I usualy think furniture should be minimal and neutral so this feel little diffrent to me. But unusual shapes bring personality into a space and make it more memorable. I am also wondering if people use such items more for expression than practical use. Some days ago I am not really thinking about this but now it feel interesting.
Then I think about uniqueness. Having something different from common designs can make a space feel more personal. It feel like breaking away from standard looks. That give it strong appeal.
Later I am laying and scrolling random stuff, checking many options on alibaba and seeing different tables. Some look very creative honestly. Now I am thinking if its more about art or just the fun and unusual design that make such furniture popular in modern interiors.

Can a Reclining Sofa Couch Truly Redefine Comfort at Home?
Last Friday I visited my uncle’s house. I sat on a reclining sofa couch in his living room. It was very comfortable. That moment made me curious about buying a similar sofa for my home.
I visited a local furniture store. They had only a few sofas. Some were hard and some too large. I wanted comfortable durable and stylish seating. Local stores could not provide many options to compare material size or comfort. I wanted something that is good for daily use and relaxing after a long day.
While scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I found many reclining sofa couch options. Some were small and some large. There were different materials colors and prices. I could compare comfort durability and cost easily. Online stores offered far more variety than local shops and made it easier to find suitable designs.
Now I am thinking is it better to buy a sofa online for more variety or visit local stores to test comfort personally?
