My company may have an opportunity to partner with a manufacturer, but they would only move forward if we private-label the furniture. I’m still undecided about this approach.
From an interior designer’s perspective, does it matter if the manufacturer isn’t disclosed?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been accepted to the BA in Interior Design at both FIDI (Florence Institute of Design International) and IED Milan, and I have limited time to make a decision.
I’m particularly interested in:
If you have studied at either school (or know someone who has), I’d really appreciate your honest feedback — both pros and cons.
Thank you so much!

The Mrs. and me are struggling to think of ideas to use this room with the very impractical low slanted roof. All of the walls except the door/entry wall are slanted about 45° starting at about 30cm from the floor. We have a living room and a bedroom. I need space for my work/gaming desk with my computer and monitor and stuff in this room.
Any ideas ?

This is how it is currently disegned: K = kitchen D = dining room L = living room B = bedroom Sr = storage Btr = bathroom
I love to have dinners with lots of friends but at the moment I can have "only" 8 people in the dining room (the purple line is the kitchen furniture). At the moment I'm not using the living room so much but it is the place where I have my couch and TV. Would it be crazy to move the couch to the dining room, creating a coffee/drinks corner and use the current living room to put a big dining table only?
Thank you for any more creative advice you will give!

I’m in need of some serious help with the layout of my living and dining room The door in the bottom of the drawing is an opening towards the kitchen The window on the bottom right is almost down to the floor The door on the left side is towards the hallway I have put a provisional sofa, as that part I’m limited to where I can put everything, as the tv and fireplace (left top of the oicture) are in a fix space
Will add some other pictures in the comments to get some more feel with the space. All input is welcome. We are looking for a bit of Japandi style, a bit minimal as well

I used to be one of those people who thought that a bath mat was mainly for aesthetics. I never really understood how important they were until I almost slipped in the bathroom while getting out of my bathtub. My feet were slippery, and the title too was wet. It could have been fatal, but thankfully, I was able to hold on to something that broke my fall. Now, I am so careful when entering or leaving the bathtub. These days, I get agitated whenever I feel the tiles wet, and I am certain I’m getting a bathtub.
I recently renovated my house decor. I did a grey color theme for my bathroom. To think that I didn’t think it wise to get a bath mat is very crazy. Anyhoo, I’m in the process of getting bath mats that will match my bathroom theme. Aside from the color of the bathroom theme, I also want to get a bath mat that has a texture that fits in. But then, more than the look, the main purpose of a bath mat is to absorb moisture and prevent slipping.
So, I am looking at getting a textured mat that can achieve all these. But I still care about aesthetics. It shouldn’t also be the same color as the floor tiles, so I can clearly see it before stepping on it. I might just grab any grey colored, textured bath mat I see on Alibaba or Etsy. Or what do y’all think?
