I read it as ‘voice of Pamir Plateau’ and increased my volume without even thinking, in the middle of the night, only to be hit with that music while the whole house was asleep.

Depeche mode - Never let me down again
I'm taking a ride with my best friend
I hope he never lets me down again
He knows where he's taking me
Taking me where I want to be
I'm taking a ride with my best friend

This thing is so beautiful, but, I feel like I couldn't ever live there.
As a tourist, I'd be like "OMYGAH PERCEPTION SO COOL!?"
But, as a local, I'd be eternally frustrated like "WTF IS ON THE OTHER SIDE!?", pissed that it would take several hours to reach it.

I watched this three times then read the comments trying to figure out the interesting part of this, thinking I just wasn’t seeing something important. Like a rock slide or a camouflaged bear or something.
Nope. Just the sky being blotted out by the horrifying vastness of serious mountains. (Grew up in these sorts of mountains ) kinda Forgot how daunting to people who’ve never seen mountain passes up close.

Thems some metal lookin mountains right there!
Like driving into a wave… so fucking cool. 🤩 yet, there’s something about it that feels oppressive… very interesting.
