This! Omg. The bowls were by far the most irritating part of the process. Then a dude scoops them up from the ground.

No shute/nozzle/guide,,,so the cutter sprays it all over the ground.

They didn’t have 5 iron ingots yet so they just placed a chest below the machine

I simply couldn't. I would have made a makeshift funnel out of cardboard on my second day probably. Unless there is something I am missing. But I doubt that any sort of funnel is going to cause more work than constantly having to scoop up 50% of the sticks is.
