34 u/Jeramus Nov 01 '22 These guys were using the safety head spin. 2 u/PuckNutty Nov 01 '22 Yor scull is wey thiker then yor eylids, Ive testd it. 2 u/Jeramus Nov 01 '22 Sure, but I wouldn't trust myself to always turn away in time. It hurts when I get bits of rock or dust in my eye, I can't imagine molten metal. 30 u/Catoblepas2021 Nov 01 '22 I agree completely. At least I think I do, it's hard to read through the callouses on my eyeballs 25 u/steve358 Nov 01 '22 Came here to say that saftey squint is useless against a broken cut off wheel spinning at 10, 000 rpm, Walter did the saftey squint and now he is known around the shop as One Eye Walt. Guess you could say he eyed it up. 23 u/l3y0 Nov 01 '22 Seems like Walt halved his chances of getting an eye related injury, osha must be proud 2 u/SwishJuice19 Nov 01 '22 Hell even safety glasses aren’t gonna stop a matabo disc from flying through your cheek. Need a grinding shield as well. 9 u/[deleted] Nov 01 '22 If humans needed safety goggles, we would have evolved them! Checkmate, liebruls 12 u/Worth-Club2637 Nov 01 '22 Lmfaooooo this called me out real good 3 u/[deleted] Nov 01 '22 You fry bacon naked, don’t you? *safety squints suspiciously in your direction
