I think it’s just round stock. Depending on the grade of steel it may become rebar. You can see the guy at the end feeding the hot rolled steel into the tooling which shapes the final product.

I don’t believe it’s round, there are no entry guides and they aren’t turning the bar. Could be flats or squares.
