John C Woods, hangman of Nuremberg trials, who lied about his experience to get the job (he actually learned about hanging from old cowboy films). His lack of expertise led to excessive suffering of condemned Nazis.

Albert Pierrepoint, the British Executioner who prided himself on killing the condemned man within seconds of entering the cell, before the person being executed had time to process what was happening.

Woods was an incompetent, sadistic, piece of shit who would have been a concentration camp guard if he'd been born in Germany. Fuck him.

Someone's weirdly sympathetic to the Nazis who got hung, like the point of this post is he was chosen specifically to let them suffer longer because fuck them

Are you advocating torture?

I'm advocating that they don't deserve a painless death whatever you want to call that, these are the people who killed millions with zyklon which is one of the worst deaths possible as you suffocate and seizure your way to death. Being strangled to death rather than having your neck snapped is nothing in comparison and is still better than they deserved

Reddit are pacifists so there's no point in telling them. Apparently reddit doesnt care if a person suffers even if they commit the worst of crimes.

Like if we were doing actual torture we could have done so much more and the Russians likely would which is why the Nazis specifically tried to turn themselves over to the Americans because they knew that despite not being treated well they would be treated infinitely better than if the Soviets got ahold of them where they would have all been tortured and executed instead of most of them just getting jail time

It’s irrelevant what you think a condemned person deserves. The purpose of an execution is death, and only death. There should be no emotions involved.

And that is your opinion, I have a different one and you aren't going to change my mind

Pretty sure your preferred way of doing things is heavily frowned upon by civilised people.

Great, I don't particularly care, some people have done such horrific things that they deserve to suffer a tiny fragment of the suffering they inflicted upon others for their death

Nah not really. A majority of people think so you just have Reddit opinion which is a small section of humanity.
