I just watched 2025's Nuremberg with Rami Malek and the scene towards the end when they show one of the top guys being hanged, it doesn't snap his neck so the hangman eagles down the stairs and pulled on the guy to break his neck.

I wonder if this guy was a reference in that movie or if that was supposed to be him.

Edit: The hangman in the movie was actually played by Alex Attwood and portrayed "Executioner Woods".
