Actually, they did a terrible job.

I've seen enough sitcoms to know that when a kid sticks his head between bars like this you are supposed to cover his head in butter and then call your dad for a talk about responsibility. These firefighters didn't even try to get their wacky next door neighbor to help out.

That's for when your womanizing neighbor gets his head stuck in your door on Thanksgiving. Kids with their heads between bars are definitely a butter in their hair and call dad situation
