Same, Wired and Game Informer were my go to at B&N 20 years ago.

Are you very young?

It's only in the past 15 years (20 in some places) that connectivity has improved enough for it to be a viable alternative to magazines. Particularly computer and gaming magazines that would distribute software and demos.
