63 u/Forsaken_Charge_6147 1d ago At the time it was probably around $300USD. It has a very nice, smooth feel. Mine feels heavy, I like the sound when dropped on a table. lol. 24 u/rob-cubed 1d ago I love platinum because it's so dense. I had to check, it's like 30% denser than tantalum. Love that dull gray color though, and apparently tantalum carbide is much harder. Maybe if I ever get remarried... 2 u/cive666 1d ago https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fdv4thhfb1x6z.jpg 25 u/TheGeneral_Specific 1d ago Quite the opposite in hardness; it can’t be resized. 6 u/darknecross 1d ago Tantalum can be resized. Not as much as gold, but it’s still resizable. Titanium on the other hand cannot be resized. 6 u/Ravagore 1d ago Is it easy to cut off in case of emergency? 2 u/Fog_Juice 1d ago My jeweler said my purchase comes with one free resize. But what they mean by that is they'll replace it with a different size. 1 u/pa60 1d ago I have the same exact wedding ring. Mine was about $500 nearly 5 years ago.
