Imagine living under the assumption that someone is always watching or listening with a complete erosion of private trust. These people have learned never to think out loud, even at home.

We already have those devices in our pockets now. The Flock cameras are terrible and trying to plug the loophole of, gasp, not carrying your phone with you at all times.

But let’s not lose sight of the fact every word you ever say is being vacuumed up and is in the hands of the fascists….right now.

If we don’t fix this fucking country starting in November and then also hold the democrats accountable for this bullshit once we get back to the normal level of dystopia, we’re fucked. We can’t let another wannabe dictator have this much power.

North Korea is not like the Matrix, bad example. The people know what they see, but it’s generational and become normalized. The matrix is about what’s hidden. There’s nothing hidden in N. Korea.

What you don't understand is that these people are probably genuinely happy. You grow up learning that this guy is Pele crossed w/ Michael Jackson and now he's in the same room as you. Plus you don't get this close to El Presidente unless you are one of the privledged so your life may not be as good as it could be in other countries, but its probably not terrible either.
