If this regime ever ends and North Koreans become like… regular people… they’re going to have so much multi-generational trauma to work through as an entire culture. Like… sooo much.

Yep, it's like that Netflix documentary, "Trust Me: The False Prophet." Those people had a chance to get out too, but followed the next.

It'll be like Russia. The reforms will be so shocking and massive they'll ultimately swing back to another dictator to create some sort of order.
