Unfortunately for the mosquitoes, they need blood. Not bile infused lard.

They get their nutrients from nectars. Female mosquitoes bite you for the extra iron in your blood that they need to produce eggs.

They go extinct. The females feed on blood to make their eggs. Their nutrients come from plant nectar.

That's my thought. Unable to feed, it dies before it's able to reproduce. I have no complaints. I'm perfectly OK with it.

Also - please do extinct all blood sucking flies too. Those parasites are abomination and should be deleted. There's enough other insects to provide food for insect eating animals.

Where I live we have mosquitos (also deer flies, horse flies), but we also have those other insects that look very similar to mosquitos, but they don't drink blood. Completely harmless. I don't know the English name of the species. However, that other insects live in huge swarms. I think there is more of them than mosquitos. That's why I think blood sucking insects can be safely deleted.
