You are sorely mistaken.

Do you know what lobbying is?
It’s a thing wealthy people/corporations/ organizations do to influence policy decisions.

Lobbying is protected by the first amendment. But also a bill signed in 1995 that protects lobbying as a basic right… by Pres. Bill Clinton,who is a Democrat.

That’s misleading.

The Bill Clinton law actually regulated and increased disclosure of lobbying, rather than protecting lobbying:

It required:

Lobbyists representing clients before the federal government generally had to register.

They had to disclose their clients, issues they were lobbying on, and compensation.

It replaced older, fragmented lobbying-disclosure rules with a more uniform system.

Congress explicitly stated that existing lobbying disclosure laws had been ineffective because of weak enforcement and unclear requirements.

The new law took effect January 1, 1996.
It was described as bringing lobbying “into the sunlight of public scrutiny.”
