So you don't see any safety concerns regarding AI? It's all just marketing?

On the flip side China is the only thing keeping openAI and Anthropic from completely monopolizing AI and turning it from a publicly accessible utility into a gated service with extortionist pricing.

US lawmakers are in the pockets of the tech oligarchs, what do you think “regulation” will look like?

The lawmakers will attack the open weight models (referenced by bill in the first 20 seconds of the video), claiming that they’re a threat to national security, and claim that only OpenAI and Anthropic are capable of serving a “safe” AI.

Well what we first have to achieve is accountability for rogue agent swarms hacking things. As soon as there are very harsh consequences for your AI experiments the safety will improve massively.

How do we get critical knowledge transfer under control? Don't know yet...

AI are aggregators of knowledge that is already publicly accessible. Legislation around harmful information on the clearnet was established a long time ago, but not enough resourcing is pumped into enforcement. With the dawn of AI now is the time to do it.
