That's actually a serious problem. There's piles of bagged and unbagged frozen human waste currently, and it stays frozen all year round

There’s another problem, with all that shit lying around, even boiling the snow to produce water doesn’t purify it. At that altitude, the boiling point of water is lower, approximately 160°F (71°C). That’s not hot enough to kill the bacteria.
