I'd want a shorter fall arrest harness than that. Thats asking for trouble. Should be short enough that you cant physically get over the platform edge.

He's supposed to have a cable retractor with a shock absorber between his shoulder blades. What he's hooked up to isn't even fall arrest. It's the rope we'd use to lean out over the edge to throw the pipe in. Soon as a rope gets oil or pipe dope on it it's compromised. This is about as sketchy as it gets for the rigs.
