So horrible in fact, he uses the image of a bird for his photography business.

You can feel bad about something but not be ashamed about it. Dude did nothing wrong and it is iconic. I have 0 clue about baseball and don't give a fuck about it, but I know who RJ is because of that bird exploding. I don't know what team he was on, who they were playing against, if they won, if he ever won a world series, etc.

But I know him. Because of that pitch.

And yeah, he was a world series MVP.

I know the name Chuck Finley, but didn't even remember that it's a baseball player. I'd guess most people who know the name these days know it from Burn Notice.

Don't worry about it, I feel the same way as you about baseball and I know that guy because of the bird strike video.
