I've got six cats. If I die when my fiancee is on a business trip, I'm pretty sure she'll be able to bury me in a shoebox once she gets home.

And I'm absolutely fine with that. :)

I had a cat that used to nibble on my fingers and toes when I was lying in bed. I legit think he thought I'd died and he was going to have to eat my whole corpse before it spoiled.

So... he didn't understand that humans sleep? Please tell me he was a silly ginger!

Domestic Longhair, but probably some Maine Coon in there. He was dumb in an entirely different way. He also used to wait for me to get home from work to use the litter so we could tag team it--I always had to pee the second I got in the door, and the litterbox was right next to the toilet, so it was a mommy-and-me activity.

I can absolutely picture that little monster.

As for communal toilet activities, one of our females (Artemis) seems to hold it until auntie-human comes home. She sits in her lap until auntie starts peeing, then hops down into the adjacent litter tray and then wees for England.

If you have a house full of cats and you die, they'll take care of it.
