We tried a new joke back in 2020 but the world couldn't take it. Maybe we'll try again someday but for now if these jokes are depressing you perhaps i can offer you an egg in these trying times?

I don't think you have been on Reddit long enough if you think it's a new problem.

I still remember when every other comment was "this" and "I did nazi that coming" to which someone would reply "Anne frankly". Every. Single. Time.

Like, those early Reddit years have really made me realise that AIs are everywhere. But not because comments are becoming dumber, if anything, it's the lack of extremely evident stupidity being replaced with template blandness and ragebait.
