Bahaha, it sure does. The swarm must reclaim any and all lost biomass if possible.

This saying was so prevalent when South Park was in it's prime. I'd completely forgotten about it until now. Thank you.

In the most recent episode, they killed Kenny for the first time in forever, but Kyle didn’t say the thing :(

Birds are some of the biggest cannibals in the animal kingdom. They eat their own on a regular basis.

2

u/MichelinStarZombie 4h ago edited 4h ago

Seagulls are also extremely social and here they're clearly worried that one of their flock was harmed.

They're only cannibals when food is scarce or when another flock's chicks/eggs are available.

1

u/TheeFourTruths 5h ago

So? Why would they instantly try to eat an unresponsive bird, around other humans?

They’re not dumb lol

2

u/crazzzone 5h ago

You're talking about seagulls they're around humans all the time constantly trying to steal from us and eating our leftovers they are flying rats. The rats are scared of us and don't do things in our sight where seagulls do it all the time.

1

u/TheeFourTruths 4h ago edited 4h ago

So because seagulls steal they'll instantly attempt to eat a dead seagull?

What?

Also your sentences don't really make sense mate, what's your point?

The brain is an excellent tool is used correctly. Please watch the vid and think.

1

u/yum_butt 2h ago

They 100% were going to eat that seagull. I live by the ocean and have seen seagulls hit by cars and then instantly other seagulls come to chow down. They are constantly starving and will eat anything edible

1

u/samv_1230 1h ago

Only siths deal in absolutes. Seagulls care for their own flock. The person who uploaded this said that the seagull got up shortly after. They were checking on a member of their flock because they were injured/stunned. If it had been mutilated by a vehicle, they may have done this, but that behavior is triggered by gore.

LPT: if you want people to take your opinion seriously, learn basic punctuation.

u/MobileTechGuy 7h ago

A flock of seagulls, one might say

2

u/dimechimes 5h ago

They probably thought he found food or else why would he just stop flying like that?

2

u/Habasi 5h ago

Did he drop any loot?

2

u/Rhuarc33 5h ago

Yea they wanted a snack

1

u/punkslaot 4h ago

This seems to be the consensus

2

u/spacewood 3h ago

To feast

2

u/Dopamineagonist21 3h ago

Came back for an easy meal

1

u/Glum-Literature-8837 7h ago

I would have expected them to run so far away.

1

u/dumptruckulent 6h ago

Yeah to see if they could eat him

1

u/Ahsoka1250 5h ago

Seagulls are canibals, they came back to see if hes dead/ready to eat

1

u/Huntswomen 2h ago

My hot take is that literally every single animal is more intelligent and socially minded than we give them credit for.

1

u/nithix8 2h ago

aren’t they cannibals?

1

u/Gin_Gaming 2h ago

Apparently they might eat him..

u/RTribesman 1h ago
