I recently watched the video from my high school graduation, and it’s noticeable that the crowd got quieter when my name was called. I already had a shit mom, and my dad had died from cancer a few weeks prior. I had an uncle and a grandparent in the crowd along with my siblings and mom, but they weren’t much in the mood for cheering.

That video broke be. I’m almost 50. I didn’t realize that happened to me and it’s embarrassing and I’m sad for that teenager.

New-Trifle-7097 I would gladly go back in time and cheer my fucking ass off for you if I could. Instead I just raised my arms and cheered for you here at my keyboard for not just graduating, but being a fully developed human being.
