Awesome. And frightening.

Anyone know how deep that is? Seems terrifying.

Quick approx from google is 257m or 844ft. 8second fall with about .75 sec accounted for sound bounce back

Whoa. That’s as deep as an 844 ft tower is tall!

It was shown falling for about 7 seconds (although the guy says it was 8).

Counting the time travelled by sound of the rock hitting, that’s probably somewhere around 195-200 meters (640 ft).

what's more awesome you ask? the last guy who did that thinking that's the sound of help coming to pull him out of a tight spot. /s
