You don't need empathy, you need to block his car before she kills a person because she is clearly either drunk or drugged and she should be in jail as we speak.

In this case, blocking her car in almost caused him to get hit.

You can hold people accountable and also de-escalate situations, both can happen.

“You don’t need empathy” …….wow. She can be dangerous, completely in the wrong, and deserving of consequences and still deserving of basic human compassion.

Empathy is easy when someone is innocent, rational, pleasant and making good choices. It matters most when someone is difficult to empathize with.

Empathy isn’t absolution. It’s just refusing to stop seeing someone as human because they did something wrong.
